Thanks to a grant from the Kriz Foundation, Friends of Hidden Valley recently installed trail cameras to monitor wildlife at the camp. We have already captured some fascinating images and videos. Please visit the FHV Facebook page to see more — and help us solve a few mysteries!
A second goal of the project is to excite Girl Scouts about the "hidden" wildlife at camp, enhancing their appreciation for the beauty and wonder of the natural world. Our initial efforts involve posting videos and images on the Service Unit 716 Families Facebook page. We will also give a presentation at the August Service Unit meeting, hoping to engage interested leaders in having their troops participate in this wildlife discovery project.
