Tap your inner warrior and volunteer to become a member of the Honeysuckle Warriors team!
We offer once a week opportunities throughout winter and early spring (weather permitting) to eradicate the invasive bush honeysuckle from our woods. Bushes are cut, hauled and burned in a fire ring to produce biochar for our trails and plantings, along with some wood cutting, trash pickup, etc.
Members receive weekly email notices detailing the day, time frame, and location within the camp for that week, usually a weekday afternoon. Tools provided, and no experience or weekly commitment necessary.
Any amount of time appreciated…come and go as you can, for some excellent exercise and fresh air!
